Join Venerable Gendun for a closing session after His Eminence Jhado Rinpoche’s visit in Romania: a reflection on Rinpoche’s teachings, a talk on Tara practice, and a short guided meditation on rejoicing.
Tara is the manifestation of the omniscient mind of all the buddhas, appearing in female form. We will explore how to bring her compassion and wisdom into our own practice and daily life, and how to continue working with our minds and opening our hearts.
Everyone is welcome, whether or not you attended the teachings with Jhado Rinpoche. Come and rejoice in the blessings of this visit, and share your questions and reflections.

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Originally from Sri Lanka, Venerable Tenzin Gendun grew up and studied in the UK where he graduated with a degree in fine art. While traveling to India in 1991, he met Tibetan Buddhism through the kindness of Lama Zopa Rinpoche and His Holiness the Dalai Lama. In 1992, he was ordained and went on to serve in FPMT centers in New Zealand before settling in France at Nalanda Monastery in 2000. Having completed the FPMT Basic and Master study programs, he is a registered FPMT teacher and has since taught and led retreats in Europe.
