Tara is said to be the Mother of all the Buddhas; a female Buddha of compassion and wisdom who manifests in 21 different forms. Meditating on and praying to them can clear obstacles, enhance compassion and intelligence, give long life, dispel poverty, and many more.

Together, aided by our Geshe’s vast wisdom we will cover:

 – How through gradually appreciating, practising, and ultimately embodying Tara’s wisdom and compassion, we can make a positive difference both in ourselves and to others.
 – The Purpose, Scope and Meaning of Buddhist initiations – Their role in offering a practitioner the spiritual authority, blessings, and permissions to engage in advanced meditative practices, for the swift attainment of enlightenment.

 ABOUT GESHE SHERAB:

Geshe Sherab has been a student of world-renowned FPMT founders Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche since childhood. He has earned his Geshe degree at Sera Je Monastery for the Geshe degree from 1987 to 2000 and since then he has taught around the world, in the US, Canada, Europe, Asia and Mexico, being a resident teacher in Santa Fe, and adopting leadership roles in Kopan Monastery. This event is part of his ongoing world tour.
