We invite you on Saturday, September 24, to take part in the meeting with the Venerable Tenzin Palmo, who will talk about the 4 Seals of Buddhism.Just like a king’s seal on a document, the presence of these four seals guarantees a document or a teaching’s authenticity as an expression of Buddhist views, the Buddhist route out of suffering. The four seals of Buddhism are:

1. All conditioned phenomena are transient (or impermanence);
2. All polluted phenomena are dukkha (the first noble truth) – unsatisfactory or in the nature of suffering;
3. All phenomena are empty and selfless;
4. Nirvana is true peace.

We will talk about what they are and how we can relate them to our practice.

About the teacher:
Tenzin Palmo comes from the Czech Republic. She took refuge with Kyabje Zopa Rinpoche in 2008 and three years later was ordained by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. Graduated from the Basic Program in Lama Tsong Khapa Institute in 2014, she continued her studies in Kopan Nunnery in Nepal, where she also learned Tibetan language. Now she is doing her private studies and practice in Jamtseling Retreat Centre in Slovakia, being also a Teaching Assistant for the Basic Program online organized by Jamyang London and teaching in Longdol Lama, the FPMT Study Group in Prague.
