We are pleased to invite you to the Practical Workshop around ‘The Spiritual Teacher’, the 4th module of our ‘Approaching Buddhism’ series of events.

In this meeting you will take part in:
 – Listening to a summary of the lesson given on April 2nd by ven. Gendun on ‘The Spiritual Teacher’.
 – Small moments of reflection to ground our motivation and to dedicate our effort.
 – Friendly discussions and a Q&A session with our facilitator and the other participants..

In our fourth meeting in the Approaching Buddhism series we got acquainted with the importance of the Spiritual Teacher in Tibetan Buddhism. Venerable Tenzin Gendun taught us about the ancient and central role of the Spiritual Teacher, why one is needed, what traits both students and teachers have, and how the student should relate to their teacher.
This practical counterpart serves to consolidate the teachings and answer any questions about the topic.

These events are meant as an essential steppingstone for anyone who wants to develop their Buddhist spirituality more deeply and will prepare the participants for the official FPMT course “Discovering Buddhism”.
