The Study Group of the White Mahakala Buddhist Centre is an initiative to provide a long-term Study Program, based on professional Materials and guided by an adequate Senior Monk, Venerable Tenzin Gendun, from Nalanda Monastery near Toulouse France.

The goal of the Study Group is to go through the 10 Volumes of the Library of Wisdom and Compassion, written by His Holiness The 14th Dalai Lama and Venerable Thubten Chodron.

We want to cover the entire subjects explained within these Books, recover, discuss and practice them in dedicated Online Sessions. We try to provide an environment that is pursuing to implement Buddhist philosophy and psychology in our daily lives in order to cultivate our minds to become more habituated with its own nature and through that establishing more happiness.

This group is open to both beginners and more experienced participants. Everyone is welcome, and no prior knowledge is required. However, we recommend reading the books we have covered so far to better follow and engage with the discussions during our monthly online sessions.

 For the upcoming session, we will begin with a brief summary of the material covered so far, allowing new participants to easily join the conversation. Afterwards, those who are interested will be provided with the reading materials so they can explore the topics further at their own pace.
